       Holly has a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Bible and Psychology from Vennard College. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Iowa. 

 

        Holly began her social work career in Iowa, where she worked for 5 years with adults and children, providing crisis intervention, therapy, and teaching parenting and life skills to low-income and dysfunctional families and individuals. She graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2008, completing her Advanced Internship by providing therapy to children at Kimberly’s Center in Ocala. In 2009, she and her husband Scott founded Ocala’s Royal Family Kids’ Camp, a camp for children in foster care, which is now a part of Share the Love Ocala. They continue to serve as Lead Challenge Course Facilitators for Share the Love’s teen camp (TRAC), and Holly serves as a teen mentor. Holly is also a Guardian ad Litem for children in foster care and serves on the Executive Board for Project Hope, a local non-profit providing transitional housing for single moms and children. 

 

        Holly is so thankful for the ways that God has brought restoration and healing to her life and is passionate about helping others find emotional and spiritual restoration. She utilizes Biblical principles along with Temperament Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people discover who God has created them to be, and how to move forward with the hope and healing that can be found in Christ.
